    Finish covering the carcass with the pine stock.

    A coat of stain and two coats of satin poly.

    Clamp together and install the hinge.

    My son and I just finished a diy canopy for his 75G two month old reef project... thought you might like the pics.

    The frame.

    Cover the frame w/hardboard.

    Once covered, flip it over and paint the inside white.
