The DIY continues unabated. I decided to get the garage side of the walls sheetrocked with 5/8" material (fire grade). That way I could soon use those walls to better use, hanging tools of them or simply using them to lean stuff against. The poofy insulation bats were annoying, and not helping keep the temperature in my house as well as it should. It took a couple of hours one afternoon to get the pieces cut and installed. ...
I currently have a 35 gal saltwater and am looking to go to a 125-150 gallon. How long should the tank run before adding corals from the old tank.

i purchased a nice DSA 70 and transfered all my stuff from my 65(http://www.reefaddicts.com/entry.php/962-my-65g-updated) to it. pretty much the same size as my old tank but thicker glass, also got a canopy and nice stand also made by DSA. lighting has changed to a 6 bulb T5ho, im still not sure if im going to keep current lighting or go back to MH. filtration is the same sump i had on my 65, just and octopus skimmer and bio pellets(no fuge), circulation is a vortech mp40 es, and all timers heater, ...
