  2. Something New!

I went to the LFS to pick up some regular maintenance things and checked out the coral tank only to see a poor little Green Slimer coral. It arrived at the LFS not it to great of shape. The owner gave it to me at a large discount needless to say. Here is a pic of it...notice the brown on it...Right now I have it on the sand bed but plan to slowly move it up in my tank. I wanted to give it time to really acclimate to my tank. Any suggestions on making it more healthy?

  3. Help me pick my next MH bulbs

Right now I'm running two 400watt MH (PFO ballast) XM 15K bulbs (SE), and it's time to change them out. I'm considering trying a different brand and just wanted to get some feedback from here. I will also be supplementing with a Super Actinic and a 454 VHO from UVL.

    Thanks!

The wall we intend to place Tibet in. This was us lining everything up to make sure both myself and my other half could enjoy a good view of the tank. I'm short, he's tall, but we found somewhere to meet in the middle.

After much demo this is what we had left. We appropriated the basement bathroom to be our fishroom, and have opted to move the bathroom to a more appropriate space.

  5. My 240g upgrade

Well after a few years in the hobby I feel its time for an upgrade. What better time to look for a larger tank than when the wife is out of town.

So I started searching for a larger tank, luck lead me to a nice 240g along with 2 ice cap ballast's, rubbermaid holding tank, reef flo pump, and a whole lot of plumbing.

Step 1. Call wife and tell her I'm buying a tank-check

Step 2. Find a place to put it-Check

Step 3. Clean out spot-ummm ya heres ...
