  2. Stand and Sump Build - Research and a learning curve

    Over the past few months I have taken my first faltering forays into saltwater aquarium keeping. To say that it has been speed bump free would be... a lie. Among other things I have cracked my tank and killed some of my livestock, but I have learned a lot and am looking forward to the future. I'm not proud of some of it, but take it or leave it I'm learning and I wanted to share my most ambitious project with RA.   3. Acans must taste good!

    So here is the problem im having, someone or something in my tank appears to be eating my Acans :/
    About 3 months ago i lost a ~7head frag, I thought I was safe till 2 weeks ago when I noticed one of the heads on another frag slowly vanishing and tell tale signs on another.....help
    in my tank that i know of i have...2purple firefish, a rainford goby, 1 big turbo, 1 emerald crab and lots of these pesky white star fish that like eating GSP...i think ( thats my next post)

  4. cyano oh no! :0

    so it appears I’m having a nutrient problem in my tank even though all levels are undetectable with salifert test kits.

    the problem I’m having is I can’t figure out my source...i really don’t feed allot at all i feed 1 frozen rotifer cube midweek 2 hours after light out for all my coral that opens up at night and for my critters and i feed my fish and acans maybe twice a week but usually once (i know its crewl) they either get frozen brine or mysis depending on which i grab out of the ...
