  1. Day 180: 6 Months old today

My reef turned six months old today. However, I was gone and didn't get to take pictures or have any time to share any news about the tank on its anniversary, so this is going to have to suffice.

    More tomorrow.

  2. Very sad. LM Blenny on his way out.

Have you ever watched one of your fish slowly waste away and there was nothing you could do about it? That's happening to our lawnmower blenny, who is our system's oldest fish. He is one of only two fish, along with a clown, who has been there through all three tanks over the past 4 or 5 years. He's always been extremely active, constantly eating, and very outgoing. 4. Recomendations for the Process of Dosing Kalk +2.

Well I have been having an issue with low pH so I decided to purchase a bottle of Brightwell Aquatics Kalk +2. What would be the best method of dosing the into my aquarium? I have a 40 gallon Breeder aquarium for the display with no sump. I was going to mix the top off water with the Brightwell Aquatics Kalk +2 and use a drip in an area of high flow since I don't have an Auto Top Off or a Dosing Pump. Any thoughts?

  5. Aug Full Tank Movie

Here's my Full Tank Movie. I've been at Vegas for the past week and see lots of evidence that coralline algae is growing nicely, if only on my front glass. lol.

    Enjoy.
