  2. Should I Use Pellet Food?

    I always thought pellet food was one of the best foods to feed your fish in that it was packed with a wide variety of nutrients, and that the fish has to eat all of it, not just pick and choose their favorites from a frozen food slurry. However, I was reading an article on fish nutrition and noticed that the author did not recommend using pellets?

  3. Soaking dead SPS for possible use

    I've wondered about re-using dead coral skeletons in a calcium reactor for years. I asked about the chance of the stony corals releasing PO4 into the water, but never got an answer of any kind. So I thought, I'll take some of the former colonies from my last reef tank and immerse them in RO/DI water for a week and then test for phosphate.
