  1. Top off & Down shots

    I was doing some weekly maintenance last night since my wife was at work and I had the house to myself. It's much easier to do some tank chores when no one is around to distract you. That way you don't miss anything or forget to do something important like turn the pumps back on.
    Since I was finished and had my screen top off, I decided to take some pictures to share.  My coral has really grown this year and you get much better perception from the top down.

  3. clip the tips??

    that us supposed to be a triccolor front and center there, it is the coral inspiring this question, as you can see there is only growth in one branch, i remember reading a post on a forum saying if i were to clip the "dormant" branches it could encourage new growth. im just wondering if someone can let me know if this is true
  4. Help Me Pick A Fish!!

    today i picked up 2 great frags, a browned out millie that is already turning metalic blue, and a turquoise,purple and orange acan frag....my sand bed is at capacity with frags so its now time to pick a new fish

    i just had my very healthy purple firefish die due to unknow reason and my rainford goby and other firefish are getting lonley soo its time to get them a friend im just starting to look so im open to suggestions keeping in mind thast its cool, reef safe, will fit in my 45cube, ...

  5. Water testing time

    Double checking parameters is always best, rather than waiting for corals to indicate something is amiss. The numbers look good overall.

    I'm only running one liter of Biospheres (np biopellets) and there's a chance nitrate is rising. I felt like it was a little off from the pure yellow I normally see, but I'll keep testing it weekly to be sure.
