    It's that time again. I needed to add more snails to my reef and frag tank. A friend placed an order with Keys Critters and had him include 100 astreas for me. What does 100 snails look like?

  2. Name this plant

    My wife has this growing in her tank and we cant find any plants that look like it. Can anyone help us out ? Its growing on the live rock and the piece i removed was able to pick up the rock before it came off

  3. Starting again after shutting down tank

    Having now moved the Red Sea Max is back up and cycling after shutting it down due to hair algae issues. Sometimes as painful or costly as it is you have to start over. Now looking at a few upgrades (Stevie T media rack and Tunze 9002 skimmer then possibly an LED upgrade). Have an external filter and Vecton UV unit so should have no major issues with parasites etc.

    Will be documenting new tank as it grows along with photos for you all to see.

  4. 75 gallon update

    tank is doing great 2/3 the cycle and the 2 clownfish i have are doing great. So i order a small clean up crew yesterday with about 60 hermit carbs and snails. then the woman come into my fish room and was like i just order u 400 snails. im like ok cool then i find out she ordered nassarius (Ilyanassarius Obsoleta) snail and im like u just order 400 shells because i heard bad things about them. Anyone esle think the same?

    Order my skimmer stand from Marc cant wait for it to get here.
