I know that in the freshwater aquarium hobby, that F/W Ick is white spots all over the body of a fish (if memory serves me correct.. been a long time since I faced that ordeal in a tank.) I've noticed that my Hippo Tang has what looks like scratches only on one side of it's body. In the photo's it showing up mottled, but the other side of him is clean and looks good.
