  2. Coral Death Update

    Water changes do not seem to be helping what so ever and all parameters are still testing good. whatever is killing corals in my tank has even the zoas and xenia looking sick and my smaller frags of monti caps that just so happened to be low laying and bleached out now as of this morning so as of right now I have 4 different species of coral death confirmed by this unknown killer still no sign of distress in the fish but I fear it is only a matter of time before I have a full on dead tank on ...

  3. rolling death in my tank a little help needed please!

    All my parameters seem fine, water changes have been occurring like normal, I seem to have what I can only describe as rolling death. It started in on tiny area of my tank I noticed a few of my blue clove polyps not opening up and that was about 4 days ago. Now it has spread out to about a 8-10 inch area and claimed my only acropora that was finally starting to show new signs of life yesterday it was fine and that area was untouched and today the acro is nothing but skeleton and the area continues ...
  4. Need Feeding and Coral Input

    One of these days I'm going to go all out and post pictures and videos of my tank, but today is not that day I have a few random questions to ask and would appreciate any accurate input. Unfortunately, some of these questions are rather long-winded, but as we all know, it's fun to talk about saltwater tanks and going off on random tangents is really just part of the hobby when you truly love it.   5. Elos coral placement plan, ideas welcome

    I originally wanted to take a purist approach and only house Clowns and BTAs, however, the more I looked at my rockscape the more I envisioned a SMALL variety of corals. I would hate to waste PAR and flow on an anemone that can adapt to low/low conditions, so here is a coral dream team.

    Assorted BTAs on left side of tank
    Zoas on the foreground "arm" of rocks
    Table Acros right in the focal point, high flow, directly under lights.
