    It has been a while since my last post but I have had a very busy schedule between both work and getting the equipment setup on the aquarium. So I thought I would post a little entry to catch up on some of the different equipment that I installed on my aquarium via a couple of photographs.

  2. Aquarium weight

    i am working on designing my stand and was wondering if anyone has a "Rule of Thumb" that they use as a weight per gallon of a stocked and decorated aquarium? i know it will vary depending on what you put into it. just looking for a general guideline

  3. My new frags

    As expected today FedEx delivered my frags from http://www.fragalot.ca/
    Everything was packed very well in an insulated box with a heat pack and lots of newspaper, i floated, dripped then dipped them and got them in the tank nice and quick. Overall I’m quite happy with the size of the frags except for 1 or 2 that are very small,bug still decent for the price, I will post pics tonight when im home from work, hopefully by then everything will be opened up

    At the end of the recent Frag Swap I attended in Tennessee, I asked the seller how much he wanted for all the Maxima clams in his tank. "Seriously?" he asked, and I said yes. After a little deliberating, we agreed on a price and he bagged each one up for me. They were in small clam cradles he'd made with frag plugs and two-part putty.
