Well here it is... I used to be obsessed with reefong like two years ago visiting this site every day and it was crazy how obsessed I was! I was hoping someone could ID this stuff. My trates and phates are (supposedly) 0 and PH is 8.2. It almost looks like string or twine but its growing. Its much harder than other algae ive seen and its only growing on the outer edges of my returns.
Couple of weeks ago it was time to break down the 150G in my parents place and move the fish and some of the rocks to my sump... Was shocked to see the amount of detritus my sand and rocks trapped despite 50x tank volume flow. Another shock was to not find a single bristleworm or critter in my DSB.
