Canopy

well i have bloging allot lately and you guys have been a big help i am farly new to the salt water and reef but i have had fresh water my whole life so i know allitle more then the average joe so i am going to be building a canopy is there anything i should know before i attempt this endeavor my tank is a 150g it is one of the 15g that is the same length as a 55 but it is pretty tall and wide i guess it is consedered a space saver i am going to be building my own light set up 4- 48in t5ho lights i have 2 fans i took out of a comp i was throwing away haha i am thinking about using two cabinet door fronts the raised panel type for the front of the canopy not to shure what to do on the top and sides any suggestions thanks agin

    just keep in mind how you want to be able to access the tank,,, for instance if you want to be able to clean the glass with out moving the lights from atop/ or shining down on tank. do you just need feeding access. these are primarily the things about design to think about...cooling is another consideration, once you trap air in one space those lights will heat that air and not allow water surface cooling as well.

    thanks for the info yea i have no clue if their is like one major thing i need to watch out for in the process of building this
