  1. "Pumps" Internal VS External

Anyone have an opinion on this topic. I'm currently running an Iwaki MD40RLXT 1200 gph external pump on a 144 gal Halfcircle. I'm cool with the performance but think it is a little loud. I'm using duel Tunzes 6105 for flow, so only need the pump for turnover. if anyone as any suggestion it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

  2. 2" Overflow and Return Combo

This is a great way to conceal an overflow and return line where space is a premium. I built this setup for a friend 4 years ago this spring. It is setup as a FOWLER tank and can be completely concealed with rock. It runs very silent.

  4. "Murphy's Law" for Reefer's

This is a list in progress..... feel free to add your own "Murphy's Law" experiences!

1.Whenever making a one handed rock or coral placement there is always a snail or hermit in your very spot. I don't care if you only have one of each. they will be right there.

    2. When doing water changes, you can NEVER remember to shut off the auto top off. (even when I write myself a note to remember!)

    3. When on your last batch of salt, it always mixes to about ...
