Do It Yourself projects
I've been absent for a while because I've been too busy with college and work, but I'm back now, hopefully for good. I've got a few upgrades coming soon and also some cool "side-tank projects" I want to share with Reef Addicts. So my tank has been going pretty well. Almost too well. My Montipora has been putting on a measured growth weekly, gorgonians open and growing, even my goniopora has grown and attached to nearby rocks. But I've always been unhappy with the tank. Last week listening to Gary & Christine's Reef Threads podcast (which is a nice replacement to the Reef Addicts podcast since it is updated like.....NEVER! I'm looking at you Melev!) ...

Well couldn't overcome the hair algae issues from a second hand tank I bought so all live stock sold and tank stripped down. When removing all items the state of them was awful and all now cleaned up and like new. Decided while tank stripped going to buy the Tunze 9002 upgrade and Media rack as they seem to improve the water clarity and flow etc. Taken a while to do but worth it as know when complete will have a lovely tank again.
So guys.....here we go... I made some 3Ds of Rimless. any suggestion..... I got question for all of you.... Do you thing 120cm L x 100cm W x 60cm H with 12MM Tempered Glass will go without eurobracing. I want Pure Rimless.....and open look from top. More than 12MM starphire is not available in market..... I need your suggestion.... Overall Dimestions with over flow Box Back ...

Well, well, well....looks like I'm back on familiar grounds. It has been nearly two years since I last started my 300 Gallon Mixed Reef.
