  1. Mojano infestation problem

I have a major infestation of mojanos and am looking to find a fish that will eat these things. Anyone have any recommendations? If I can't resolve this with fish I will be forced to tear my tank apart and start over which I really don't want to do. Ain't nobody got time for that! Any feedback is much appreciated.
    Thanks, Greg
  2. I need a new frag tank

I've been talking about building myself a new frag tank system for about nine months or more. I'm just about to commence that project in the coming weeks. The corals that are in the tank right now are demanding more space, and it's pretty awesome to see. The tank has become dominated by a few species, and they are literally growing up the walls and out of the tank. 3. magnesium

  4. Noise

My reef tends to make noise, but not enough to be an issue. However, the past few days my skimmer has been way too loud with the sound emanating from the air tubes used to venturi air into the pumps. I ran several cups of heated RO/DI water through them, but the suction sound was annoying!

Only one of the two pumps was the source, so I removed that pump to clean the impeller, tubing and the nipple where the two connect. I was expecting salt creep to be the obstruction. ...

  5. Sump Cooling Fans

While I was at MACNA my system ran OK with one exception. One of my sump cooling fans went out and took out the fan controller with it. All the fans were off because of this with the exception of the cooling fans for the LED lighting. The water temp did go up to 82 degrees with the fans out. This was not so bad. The real issue is it could have caused a fire since the the circuit board in the fan and the one in the controller had burnt spots. You could smell that burning smell in the room a couple ...
