  1. How I dislike Fedex!

    I ordered 3 new fish for my 180 last week from live aquaria and they were to be delivered today. I check the tracking information last night and it said they would arrive today around 3pm. I thought great I get off work at 12 today not a problem. So this morning I wake up and check the tracking info again to see they have already arrived in my city at 6:30 am so I figured ok they will be delivered sometime this morning instead of 3ish this afternoon. So I tell my mom to expect a call from fedex ...

  2. Mystery Wrasse! Crap, I need a cover.



    Got this little guy today off of divers den. My plan is to put him in the RSM until the Elos finishes up it's cycle. In the mean time I need to make one of those screen covers im afraid...

    What do you guys think? Should I play it safe or grow a pair? I dont want to ruin my clean tank!

  4. My 240 upgrade (Huge post)

    Now for the rest of the update

    Its the weekend so work has been done, I glad to say the the outside of the fish room is 95% done. Still need to clear coat and cut a piece of trim, trim the rest of the basement and then save for carpet. But I did get paint on the walls, trim installed and have started on the inside. Bulkhead came in yesterday so I can soon start on the plumbing.

    I've been so busy I didn't even get a chance to blog about my new stand. However, now that I'm in Florida I have some quiet moments until MACNA begins, so here are some images I took with my iPhone 4.

    The stand is 85.5" long, 36" wide and 38" tall. It is made of 2" tubular steel, welded and powder-coated. The steel is very thick, and the stand immensely heavy. When the welder dropped it off, it was too heavy for the two of us to carry, so I called for a third person to assist. ...
