Day 210: 7 months old

Rating: 3 votes, 5.00 average.
As this day draws to its conclusion, I couldn't let it pass without mentioning it turned 7 months old today. 30 weeks of TLC and for the most part it has down very well.

Here's a couple of pictures from above, showcasing the double-thick Eurobracing of the Marineland custom-made 400g tank.

I just installed my Eheim autofeeder to take care of the dinner rush each night while I'm at MACNA. My tank sitter will feed around 3pm daily and check on the tank.

A few corals were pulled out of the frag tank, lit with a 14,000K Evolution LED fixture by Reefkoi.

Prior to the spawning event over the weekend, I noticed how pink the RBTA's tentacles had morphed to recently.

The red serpent starfish made a surprise appearance last night. It has only 4 of its 5 arms due to that incident with the Mp60 a couple of months ago, but a nub is forming and eventually it'll have 5 arms again.

And finally, another surprise appearance. A spaghetti worm was up on the glass instead of buried in the sandbed, allowing us to see the worm itself. Kinda neat, right?

And the latest parameters measured tonight:

Have you seen a lot of growth using the Evolution LED fixture?

Congrats on the 7 month milestone!

My worms do that every once in a while too, but I never been able to stick around long enough to see where they end up.

Henry, I don't keep corals in the frag tank long enough to really notice any discernible growth. It's really a holding station for new acquisitions.
