Lighting

To sum things up my tank is one of the worst offenders of the "Cheap reef tank attempts." But, Change is a comin'. My systems specs are as follows. Main Tank: 100 gallons 48in L, 24in W, 24in T. Protein skimmer: Sea Clone, Pump: Little Giant external pump, Reactor: Phosban Reactor rigged for Biopellets, Sump: 30 gallons no refugium. Chiller: 1 hp, UV: Built in AquaFine UV Sterilizer. Powerheads: two vortech MP10 and two hydor korslia 2's, Lighting: 2 120w Reef Bliss LED fixtures 55 LEDs ...

here were my original ideas for my build that i posted on my local reef club forum

I have a 40 gal tank that i once had setup as a frag tank. I took the tank down and im going to drill and sump it and setup a reef tank.
I already have some of the equipment to get started and i only need a few more things to get it started, here is what i have.
40 gal breeder and stand (all sides un tempered)
quad t5 with leds
mega flow model 1 sump
heater
about 30-40 ...

So to make a long story short I have a Odyssea POS 250W MH fixture (with four 65W PC's) that I can no longer get MH bulbs for unless I replace the ballasts. In doing some hunting around online I found that the Icecap 250W ballasts would work. But I have not been able to find anyone with them in stock. I just now read that icecap went out of business. Is that true? Anyone have any ideas on other ballasts that I could use?

Looking to replace my 4 T5 HO coral life bulbs. Just don't like the look of them tank just doesn't pop . I was thinking of either using giesemann powercrome bulbs or ATI bulbs. My tank has mainly softies and LPS and a couple SPS. Right now kind of thinking of use the giesemann bulbs but unsure what combo of bulbs was thinking of something like this 2-aquablue + bulbs and 1-actinic + and 1-pure actinic. thoughts??

Hey all thought I would enlist some of your thoughts. I have decided on getting a Neptune apex controller my only questions is when? Before new lights or after. Now as for lights I am going LED’s I was going to go with a DIY build but lately time is lacking and I would like a professional look. So my current 2 thoughts are the new eco tech radion’s or the Kessil 150w 10000k. Now I understand the 2 are in 2 different classes and although I would like the bells and whistles that come with the Radions ...
