  1. Hanging the Radion fixture

With the 60g on the stand, leveled and positioned near the wall - I left a small gap behind the tank to avoid salt-creep damage to the sheetrock - I needed to determine where to hang the Radion LED fixture over the tank. Using a 4' level, I placed it across the tank and set the light fixture on top. This permitted measuring the fixture from all four sides to get it centered. Hence, I was able to ascertain the distance from the rear wall and the right wall precisely for the hanging kit.

  2. Raised My Kessl a360w Tuna Blue LED Pendant.

I had a full day at work today so I didn't have any time to really slack off. So I just though that I would raise my Kessil a360w Tuna Blue LED Pendant about 1.5 inches higher to spread the light a little bit more. I think my little 2 inch Derasa Clam is loving it.

  3. Kessil a360w Tune Blue Controllable LED Pendant.

After a few days of the United States Postal service giving me a minor heart attack from misplacing my delivery it has finally arrived. My new Kessil a360w Tuna Blue Controllable LED Pendant. Over time, the bulbs weaken and even shift spectrums, which can result in unpleasant pinks or yellows that make the corals appear ugly... and even worse: algae will grow. The easiest cure is to replace the bulbs. I've been dragging my feet on this project out of sheer stubbornness. I really wanted to change them out when the 400g was back. That's when I have to take ...

  5. First Thoughts On My New Kessil a150w Ocean Blue LED Pendant.

First off I have to say that I am definitely impressed with the small form factor of this light and the silent operation. It is quite honestly one of the most beautiful pieces of equipment I have seen. The shimmering affect is amazing! But this is just my personal opinion that the 15,000K Ocean Blue is just too blue for my taste. I would have definitely preferred something along the 10,00K Sky Blue unit. Another issue I am having with it is that I'm having some light bleed off the aquarium ...
