With all the plumbing completed on Friday night, Wes and Ryan both offered to come over Saturday evening to help with the rockwork. Ok so just a few quick questions as this is my first skimmer. 1. Are skimmers in general meant to always have the foam at the top of the neck or just when there is something to skim? For example when you clean green algae off your glass. 2. Does it matter how deep in the water they sit or is it just a matter of adjusting them to your desired skim rate? 3. Ok so this is my first review of anything but i thought some of you may be interested in this brand of skimmer. As for what led me to this skimmer i would have to say looks played a part as it reminded me of the Bubble kings (way out of my price range) For some reason the blue and red drew me in.
