  1. Reef Munchies

ok, so i'm not normally one to plug a product but i was at MAX a couple of weeks ago and I came across a booth that was selling a new food called reef munchies. According to the people at the booth the batches of the food are hand made and they use sushi grade food for each batch. The food is then freeze dried so you can keep it for long periods of time. They gave me a sample bag of the food and so i took it home and tried it. The food was amazing and all of my fish and corals loved it. i decided ...

  2. Which Tests?

    Hi All,
Relatively new tank... and now we want to start with some good habits. Currently testing for O2, Nitrite, Nitrate, Ammonia, salinity, and PH. Which ones should be done and with what frequency?

Also, we have only janitors and two fish thus far. However, we found a small leather coral (we think) and want to know what we should begin to feed this... and how for that matter?

    Jim

  5. Stand and Sump Build - Research and a learning curve

Over the past few months I have taken my first faltering forays into saltwater aquarium keeping. To say that it has been speed bump free would be... a lie. Among other things I have cracked my tank and killed some of my livestock, but I have learned a lot and am looking forward to the future. I'm not proud of some of it, but take it or leave it I'm learning and I wanted to share my most ambitious project with RA. I hope you guys get something useful out of this blog entry and can learn something ...
