For anyone who has not read any of my most recent posts (though most recent may still be a couple months old) I have been fighting with Caulerpa Toxifica and hair algae. I have done frequent water changes, water parameters check out good (with a test kit but I will hit on this subject again later), lighting is a few months old so still within spectrum, and I am close to hair falling out over the stress this is causing me lol. So I decided to reward myself for (finally) getting my BBA by building me a reef tank. I had a tank for several years but due to frequent moves I had to take it down. I had purchased a 75 gal tank a while back, but it has sat in a back room for to long! I have been reading and searching for the best way to set up my tank for a while now and thought I had it figured out. I started building my stand with a plan, but I recently found a deal on a Lifereef LF1-150 that I couldn’t say no to.

Ok, waters have cleared and everything appears to be bouncing back.

I took the time this last week to get all the new goodies I recently acquired set up and running on the tank. I'll add some pictures later of the different setups.

While I was up at the NHL Winter Classic this past weekend I of course managed to pop into a LFS in the Pittsburgh area. The store was called AquaWorld and was a very large store with tons of exotic fish and beautiful coral.
