Hey so I have a question I need some help with regarding floor support for a second story tank. I am curious peoples thoughts on max size of a tank that can be kept on a conventional framed floor. My house is about 5 years old and I plan to put a tank in my bedroom which is over the garage. The tank will be spanning multiple joists and will be against an outside gable end wall. The store sold it to me as a black percula... but it only cost $20 and black percs are ususally upwards of $70 I had my nitrates spike and most of my fish die a few weeks ago. My incoming TDS is high. Extremely high. 750+ high. That being said my 4-stage does a very good job of getting it down. Usually averaging less than 30, sometimes 20. Well it's me again and again I am having questions about keeping millepora under my lighting. I have had these 4 millepora frags for over a month now and I figured I would slowly acclimate them starting from the bottom up to a higher location in the tank.
