Questions - Need some input

today i picked up 2 great frags, a browned out millie that is already turning metalic blue, and a turquoise,purple and orange acan frag....my sand bed is at capacity with frags so its now time to pick a new fish

i just had my very healthy purple firefish die due to unknow reason and my rainford goby and other firefish are getting lonley soo its time to get them a friend im just starting to look so im open to suggestions keeping in mind thast its cool, reef safe, will fit in my 45cube, ...

I always thought pellet food was one of the best foods to feed your fish in that it was packed with a wide variety of nutrients, and that the fish has to eat all of it, not just pick and choose their favorites from a frozen food slurry. However, I was reading an article on fish nutrition and noticed that the author did not recommend using pellets?

I am contemplating setting up one of my 55 gal to get the tank cycling while I am building my display tank stand. When it is ready then transfer the substrate, LR and water from the 55 into it.

Any thoughts on doing this?

i am working on designing my stand and was wondering if anyone has a "Rule of Thumb" that they use as a weight per gallon of a stocked and decorated aquarium? i know it will vary depending on what you put into it. just looking for a general guideline

Think green. You name it, my tank has got it. Bryopsis, Dictyota, and Valonia all growing without a care in the world. What can I do so I can finally start enjoying the tank instead of constantly scrubbing algae off the rocks?

What I have done so far:
-installed RO/DI filter, giving me 0 TDS water for top-off and water changes. I have been slacking on my water changes though
-installed GFO reactor. It helped a little bit, but I still get consistent crops of algae
