  1. My new frag system is cycling, at last.

    As you know, for some time I've talked about setting up a stand alone frag system in the corner of the fishroom. In December I got everything built and last weekend I finally plumbed it in, got water circulating and a raw shrimp is now working its magic for three days to get the cycle going.

  2. DFWMAS Frag Swap

    April 20, 2013 - Richardson Texas: Our club had the first frag swap of the year inside the community room of the St Barnabas Presbyterian Church on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. About 100 people or more converged on the swap to buy, sell, and trade corals.

    As previously stated, our frag swaps have come a long way from what I attended a decade ago. Gone are the tables full of small bags of water, replaced by aquariums lit with LED fixtures to showcase the abundant selections available ...

    This is my current tank build a 92 gallon Corner tank with a external overflow. I have since applied black adhesive vinyl that i aquired at a local sign shop. After searching for a stand .I ended up getting the one made by the manufacture as to not void the warranty on the tank. The tank and stand are now in the permanent location. My next step is to build a canopy. The final design will all depend on what lighting I decide to go with. All input is welcome..and ...

  5. RA exclusive: DIY LED fixture of fun (SOL rip off)
