Pictures at dusk

When the third MH is the only light on, the bommie has a very pretty dusk look to it. It's one of my favorite times to view my reef from the kitchen-side. I tried to capture that look and feel recently.

So if I understand correctly, you have three MHs over your tank. The one towards your kitchen kicks on first in the morning, then your middle after that. All three are on during the "noon" hours, then they turn off in the same direction?

That's pretty cool. I would love for my next tank to be much longer. I'm not too concerned with height yet, but I have a young tank with mostly frags so I haven't watched things grow too high in my tank yet. I would love to be able to do something similar to this in my next setup. :-)

Yes, I run staggered lighting. I've been doing it for years now. Here's the write up: http://www.reefaddicts.com/content.p...d-Lighting-why
