    Ok today I picked up a couple things that I have been neglecting to test in my system. I have never test phosphate until today I am going to begin testing with an ELOS expert line PO4 test kit and I am going to use reef results phosblaster super nuker liquid phosphate remover to remove the phosphate in my system.

    the claim of this product is 1 point per treatment, the treatment is 10 ml per 50 gallons. I am going to be dosing 40 ML to treat 180 gallon system. the pictures taken ...

  2. Removing trim for eurobracing glass aquarium

    I am in the process of removing the plastic trim and cross braces from a glass aquarium, so I can add euro-bracing around the top. My tank is a 180, so it is 1/2" thick glass. Now, that can get kind of expensive, buying 3 inch by 72 inch strips of 1/2" glass, so I am going to use a different technique of 3/8" glass on the inside and another 3/8" glass on top. I know this may be overkill.

  3. Apex application on Android

    FYI - I know many people don't frequent RC as much as they used to so I thought I'd mention this here. I wrote an Android App for the Apex controller that you might be interested in. I'm really not trying to make any money off of this but I put a small cost for the full app to help recover the registration fees necessary to get the app loaded up on the Google Android Market. Users think Google is free for everything but you know Sergey and Larry didn't get rich for nothing

  4. Automating feedings and vodka dosings

    When I have to go out of town, it's important to keep even these simple things cared for. Relying on someone to physically dose my tank with the proper amount daily as well as feeding my reeflings - well, you just never know if it truly was done as promised. I don't like it, but I too suffer from doubt.

    So I made a little Vodka doser. It's very simple, following the idea that was released via our YouTube channel from the MAX conference last month.
