My clownfish is turning darker in color on the top half of her body. Any ideas? Had her for four years. The only thing that's changed is that she's recently chosen my toadstool mushroom to host. I've heard of corals "stinging" fish but I wasn't sure if this was really the cause.
That nice little neon goby who just joined the DT is missing in action... he was last seen on Wednesday, by my wife, who saw him dart upwards followed by the sound of splashing water... The tank is covered so it isn't possible to jump out, but he might have jumped into the central overflow column. Here are my parameters: what can i do. I have started to add 1tsp of buffer 3x a day. 0 phos 0 nitrate 1.7 alk. 550 cal. 1.025 salinity 8.07 ph. I have a sulfur reactor, as well as a calcium reactor. No corals, as well as no fish, however getting some shipped tomorrow by noon.
