So I am attempting my second attempt at a reef tank. I will try to document as much as I can as I go. I have a lot of it laid out so far but money limits how fast i can do this. I have to get the "bones of the system up withing a week or so because I have to clean out a bedroom for my new baby room. The tank will be mostly softies and I hope a tone of zoas (my favorite). Just wanted to kick the tires on Addicts so I thought I would start my blog.

I began my reef adventure in Dec 2007 and have fallen in love with the hobby. MY wife on the other hand, not so much . My current tank specs are

46 Gallon Oceanic Bow Front
1600 give or take gph of flow provided by various Hydor power heads
Current USA 2x150 watt HQI DE bulbs (although I received my new Aquactinics dual 175w 2x39 watt T5 fixture today just waiting ...
