  1. Skimmer Swabbie repaired again

As I reported not to long ago, my Skimmer Swabbie's squeegee bracket broke. I received a new one in the mail on Saturday, but it didn't match what I've had all this time.

I did have to trim off the excess rubber at each end, because otherwise it would have been too tall. The groved section of the bracket is longer than ...

  3. Platygyra pini DNA

Years ago, I got this coral from a local vendor that was about to open for business. It's a beautiful maze coral that has done well or poorly as things happened with water quality. It was plagued with cyano that refused to go away, to the point that I was ready to write it off. When it was down to less than 20% life, it suddenly decided to reverse course and heal. 4. Pictures from today

  5. When you appreciate your controller more than ever

Taking medication has made me sleepy, and I've not had the desire to lift a finger for the past six days, other than to add some thawed fishfood to the reef before the lights shut off for the night.

The Apex has been keeping everything firing on 8-cylinders, the top off is replenishing ...
