    Here we go.....

    UPDATE

    First consignment arrived "Love rocks has landed"!

    Another hard day . . . . "trip to Red Sea, collection of live rocks" i collected some about 300lps to 390lps exact weight I cannot tel. It was total 6 buckets. Buckets can hold 15ltr to 20ltr of water, so I am assuming that 55lps to 65lps per bucket......
    It took 4 hours to collect rock from wild…. .. . .. . . but at last I ended up with good pieces ...

  2. Newish to the hobby and new to the site! Help with questions?

    Hello Reefers!

    As stated in the blog title I am a newer reefer, having my tank set up for about 6 months now. I have had tanks off and on since I was a teen but now finally tapping into the saltwater side of things. Im about to turn 30 and my life is calming down and I find this hobby has been a great, healthy outlet for me.

    I have a 55 gallon set up that was my fresh water tank. Spent the time cleaning the hell out of it, paint all the old fake wood trim to black ...

  3. Ways to get rid of majano and aiptasia

    All reefers that have bought live rock it’s only natural for the rocks to come with aiptasia or majono anemones. I have used most products and creatures out there to rid of the pest and the ones I haven’t used or tried I have done enough research to gather the odds and ends of them. But some reefers don’t even know what they look like at as the majono looks more appealing then some coral we buy!     Any thoughts you can share that would be helpful,
    I finally have time to complete my fish room, i would like some friendly comments and suggestions on plumbing and lighting, i have in the past completed 2 fish tank setups and leared alot but still looking for more ideas and innovation.

    At the present i have a 180g Oceanic "sleeping in the pics," and a 220g Oceanic ready to be born!

    I have a eshopps PSK-300 protien skimmer. it does not seem to put out the skimmage that I have seen a lot of you folks talk about. I originally thought it would be great because it has two pumps. if one when out it would still work till I got a replacement. However I discovered it takes both to work properly. here is a picture of it.
    any advise on what skimmer I should ...
