  3. Replacing My Rock

Well after a few months of battling with Aptasia I have decided that it is a losing battle and I am going to make a change. I am getting all new rock for my tank. 4. Recent Addition.....Black Sun Polyps

I just acquired this piece at a frag swap I attended in Pennsylvania. The guy I got it from said that it loves light, but from what I have been reading, they tend to be more lower light/shaded creatures. I mounted them to a frag plug and put them in a cave for now. What do you guys think? Sorry for the crappy pics, they are in pretty deep, and there is food in the water column.

  5. First attempt at an SPS

Last month I decided my tank was mature enough at 4 years old that I'd try my hand at an SPS. Plus a fellow reef keeper in the office was placing an order to Blue Zoo. So after a couple hours of research (OK, I've been researching it for 4 years now), I decided on a Brown Monti Digitata. well, it was a rough start. Right off the bat I discovered my precious flame angle, who hadn't bothered any of my soft or LPS corals had a taste for monti polyps. So the Monti was uprooted after only ...
