Tank Entry

Well, I decided I had enough of the noise from my 2 mp60's so I upgraded both to the new quiet drives. What an amazing difference! One is now almost silent and the other is at least 80% quieter. Here's where things go a bit sideways. Neither driver will remember night mode. While not a big deal I think all features should work properly. I noticed this picture of the Milka coral from a year ago. I honestly couldn't even remember when I got the frag. Roughly a week ago I was going through old pictures to ascertain when and didn't find any images until June 2015. However, I discovered two images from Jan 2, 2015 after all, so now I know:

As you know if you follow my blog, I share the good with the bad. I hate admitting the bad, because people often put my up to higher standards and I already set my own standards quite high, but here's the scoop:

I now have three fish. I went looking for a first fish and ran across some blue reef chromis damsels. I got three of them. These things seem to be hungry all the time. I guess that s a good thing though. They are active during the day and are always out above the rocks. All seem to be getting along OK. They always seem to be hungry. It has been about 3 months since I filled the tank with water. A couple of weeks back I went to one of the local fish stores and got some sand and a rock with some coralline alga on it from one if their tanks. I was willing to pay for it but they said it was not enough to charge me for it. They said to just remember where I got it. Kudos to them I will defiantly go back. I also added 3 turbo snails at that point. There was some alga starting to grow on the rocks.
