  1. 9 hours well spent!

Well everything finally came in and so my day was spent putting it all together aside from the bio pellet reactor. I had requested a completely different one but to make a long story short Coral Vue sent me this bohemoth to make up for the delay, unfortunately I have no use for a reactor this big and will be trading it in on one a little more tank size appropriate (if they had sent me a larger skimmer that would be a different story though)

  2. Melev's Boosted RODI Installed

Today I installed the Boosted RODI unit (from Melev's Reef) and had the neighbor over to look at the garage. The neighbor is Mike Laforge who owns Pavement Pros and Concrete Solutions of the Carolina's in York, SC. He does exceptional work from standard driveways to concrete patios. I have to go to a meeting in a few minutes and my YouTube videos are uploading as we speak so I will add the very first one for now. In all there are four parts about 3 minutes long per piece. The video is a bit more blurry than I would have liked and my amature status as a videographer is clearly on display, but I want to show all of you what I've been up to. Additionally, throughout ...

  4. Acrylic welding - Overflow installation!!

Just made my first ever acrylic weld... other than my practice joints. I'll be posting some pictures later this evening. I'll also be posting an updated picture of my tank and the new (mostly completed) plumbing. It's been a long time coming, but by the end of the weekend I will probably be able to give my system a full scale water test (and hopefully share a video with you guys). Hope you all enjoy the pictures when I get a minute to post them this evening!

Okay, so as promised, here ...
