Well everything finally came in and so my day was spent putting it all together aside from the bio pellet reactor. I had requested a completely different one but to make a long story short Coral Vue sent me this bohemoth to make up for the delay, unfortunately I have no use for a reactor this big and will be trading it in on one a little more tank size appropriate (if they had sent me a larger skimmer that would be a different story though)

Today I installed the Boosted RODI unit (from Melev's Reef) and had the neighbor over to look at the garage. The neighbor is Mike Laforge who owns Pavement Pros and Concrete Solutions of the Carolina's in York, SC. He does exceptional work from standard driveways to concrete patios. If your in the Charlotte Metro and need concrete work I would highly recommend his work.

As promised in my most recent post, I am posting some videos of the water test I did today. Just made my first ever acrylic weld... other than my practice joints. I'll be posting some pictures later this evening. I'll also be posting an updated picture of my tank and the new (mostly completed) plumbing. It's been a long time coming, but by the end of the weekend I will probably be able to give my system a full scale water test (and hopefully share a video with you guys). Hope you all enjoy the pictures when I get a minute to post them this evening!
