Last night, while cleaning out my living room, I accidentally got one of the American DJ switch assemblies wet. I quickly unplugged it and dried it off, and today I opened it up for inspection. What I discovered was a discolored spot at one of the connections. There was no water inside, fortunately.

Here's how to open one up. Remove it from use, unplug it of course, and remove the two screws from each end.

This definitely turned into more than I expected, but I'd love any input. After about a week of researching and thinking and reading some more I decided to try building a "zapper". I don't have any pest anemones but I've been looking for away to remove stray mushrooms without pulling the rock and chiseling them off. After all my reading and thinking I went out and got some supplies. I dug out some non-copper speaker wire and some used oxygen tubing out of my grandpa's garage.
