  3. How would you do flow in my tank?

    I've mentioned before that I don't think the flow in my tank is good enough. It's a 120, and it has 2 koralia evo 1050s and a maxijet with the propeller mod. I don't count my return since it's not very strong. I'm going to have some funds available from selling at a frag swap next month, hopefully $200-300. If it were your tank, what would you do? Obviously scrapping them for Vortechs isn't feasible. Would you start over, add more pumps, put in a closed loop, or something else? I could easily ...

  4. New fish in quarantine

    When I get new fish, I prefer to put them in quarantine for a duration to make sure they are healthy and well-fed. I set up my old quarantine tank on the angled tank's stand, and filled it up with reef water, a heater, a MP10, and a simple LED light on top. PVC fittings were addded to give fish a place to hide if need be.

    Keeping the tank at 78F is easier this time, because the tank is lower in the room. The previous one would get hotter due to warmer air up high.

  5. New coral frags added to my reef

    The new frags have been treated with Interceptor for more than 12 hours, then dipped in a ReVive solution for 10 minutes prior to being added to my tank. I don't want to introduce any pests.
