Tank Entry

So I currently operate 2 EcoTech Marine Vortech MP10 ES pumps on my 20 gallon aquarium. One pump was purchased without the Wireless feature and the other came with the wireless feature standard. I have been having a few issues with my pumps in tuning the proper water flow within my aquarium because the pumps were not synchronized wirelessly. If I turn them up too much I get a sandstorm tornado of sugar sized aragonite sand which make my aquarium look like a white Christmas. If I turn them down too ...

So I have added a about 7 small mini Acropora colonies (more like large frags about 1.5 inches x 1.5 inches into my aquarium since the water parameters seemed stable enough and over the past three weeks my water parameters have started to take a dive. I've also noticed that a few of the Acropora colonies seem to be suffering from burned tips. No I have a very minimum bioload as there are no fish in my aquarium and I feed only twice a week. So I have hit the stage where all my water parameters are within normal ranges and stable and I have added a few SPS Corals to my aquarium along with a Clam. But I would like to implement something to address the phosphates and nitrates within the water column without having to run two separate GFO and Carbon Reactors. Well it has been quite a while since I have posted anything so I will give a quick rundown of how things have been going.

First off sadly I have been a little busy caught in life to really take great care of my tank (second child born, in-laws in town, oldest back to school, etc.) so it has been running on autopilot for a while.
