So I have about 10-15 small tufts of this crystal green looking algae in my tank. It looks very different than the green hair algae, to me at least. Anyone have any ideas what it is?

I am talking bout the green tuft in the middle of the image

Maybe, it is time to get a tang in the tank.

I had some kind of macro algae on a piece of new live rock and my emerald crab ate all of it within a day. ;-)

If that is a furry filamentateous algae, it is very likely bryposis. Here's a close up of some.
