All an Update on my Tank:

After much waiting and researching and more researching, I ordered my lights ( Aquatic Life 48" T-5 (4) and 8 Lunar Led's) all on a single Power Cord with an advanced timer for the whole she-bang! They arrived yesterday.

The packaging was top notch and no damage either on the outside or the contents.

Following the instructions from the web site, I placed the lighting fixture a towel as to not scratch or mar the finish.

I then removed the Packing materials from the included lights and re-set them. The Only issue I found was 1 pair of 10k and 420/460 tube holders wasnt completely inserted properly into the holder. A small Standard screwdriver easily reset the notched portion, hearing a "click" I moved on to the next steps

Adding the legs and sliding the plexiglass cover in place I was ready to plug in and turn it on. Note: the instructions were'nt exactly explicit about the legs, realizing later that there is a Front Set - Left and Right and a Rear Set, Left and Right - Pay attention to the grooves and ensure that they "face" away from the fixture and the legs slant away as well.

After plugging them in and setting the clock to the current time, They turned on, AquatiLife has a preprogrammed function that turned on the system with the correct combination of actinic and 10 K and then turned them off at 5p, leaving only the actinic lights till 8pm, when they turned off and the lunar led's turned on. WoW, My small BUTTON POLYTHOA'S even opened up more and spread their canopies even wider and seeing the zoa's flouresce under the led's was very exciting!

Aaron, I went ahead and edited your post to get the pictures in succession. Hope you don't mind.

Looks great! Odds are those two fittings popped out of place during transit. Good catch noticing that.

Aaron, let us know how they work out after a bit! I have two of those 48" on my puchase list for my new tank. Curious how well they work out for you over a bit of time
