AI Sol Hanging Kit

I have finally been able to hang my Aqua Illumination lights (had to convince my wife that it would look nice and get my father in law over to help). I used the AI hanging kit. I lowered them about an inch after these pictures were taken to reduce light spilling over to the room. I am very happy with the end results. Now it is time for some fine tuning on the the colors and intensities.

I may also put up something to run the wires back down and behind the tank. PVC painted black perhaps.

    Interesting. 2nd post I've read regarding Aqua Illumination Lights. I was going to get 2 48" AquaticLife Timed T5's. Now, maybe I should look into the AI's.

    its nice to see another cube owner on here, your tank is looking great

    those lights are amazing!!!! ive only heard good things about them so im going to be making 2 diy replicas for my cube, the choice to hang them definitly gives an overall cleaner look

    hey neelixx, i found i thread you may like to read if your interested in the AI lights. brace yourself its long but all the info is in the forst ~20pages then its just ppl asking the same questions over and over and over and over and over

    Thanks guys. The wife is giving it a one week trial period to decide if she likes it. Once she accepts the hanging lights I am going to pitch her a proposal to replace the couch with a frag tank .
    Shawn, checked out your cube, I like it. Nice work on the stand too. Keep us up-to-date on your diy led lighting, I look forward to seeing it.
