Reef Addicts strikes again

Rate this Entry
After a year lull in letting my 75g mostly SPS reef grow in, I listened to some old ReefCast and new Reef Addict podcasts. Funny how they get you fired up about reefing again. So, I will blame Marc to my wife for having just gone out and ordered a new 150g tank to upgrade. I swapped the dimensions on it to get more front to back room, and shortened the height. It is going to be 72x24x20. Will have Euro bracing all around, so no shadows, yay. Thanks Marc, you're the reason I give my wife when I spend our money..... LOL

You're not the first person to blame me for something. I get blamed for everything. I'm special that way.

This is my current 75g. I am waiting for my 150g that I ordered to come in. Then I am transferring everything over. Will post pics as the project comes along. :0)

I am excited about this upgrade to the 150g tank. And mostly caused by listening to ReefCast and Reef Addicts podcasts. I ordered an external pump today, my old tank ran off an internal Mag 5. I ordered Tropic Eden Sand based on the nice review on here. Ordered the new Vortech Ecodrive M40, with a battery backup. Ordered another matching pendant and Icecap ballast for the additional 2 feet I am adding. This is adding up money wise....ha But well worth it. And I still blame it on Marc to my wife. I will be starting a 'tank build blog' once the tank comes in next week.

It sounds like you are purchasing all my favorite gear. You still need some Lumenbrights though.
