Self Intro/ New Barlett's Anthias!

Rate this Entry
Hello everyone! I am new to reef addicts as of yesterday. I have had a few small convo's with mark himself and I am always interested in talking to other hobbyists because you can never know enough when it comes to this hobby! So feel free 2 shoot my friend requests or PM's its all the same to me.

Now that my name is out there I just bought and as of a few minutes ago started acclimating my two new Barlett's Anthias! I have owned anthias before with great success but like i said above I never turn down useful information so...

does/ has anyone here owned one or more of these beautiful anthias? and what tips/tricks do u have to the successful husbandry of these fish?

All thought and ideas are appreciated

I've been keeping a pair in my tanks for the past two years or more. I don't recall when I got them at the moment, but they lived in the 280g, then a 100g trough for 7 months, and now in my 400g for the past 9 months.

With Anthias, multiple feedings is the best method, as this fish forage and eat food from sunrise to sunset. If you can add food at least twice a day, that's a good start. I tend to feed my tank 3x per day.
