In the last little while I have just been letting my tank do its thing, ive also been slowly placing my frags up on the rock, they were all over the sand acclimating, i have also been feeding very heavy to try and color up my coral. levels are holding steady, im frusturated i dont have to dose Ca...with weekly changes i seem to be able to keep it high enough


my potters angle has been causing some trouble, my SPS no longer have their polyps out and I have not seen my fire fish in days, I’m debating selling her, she’s just too pretty though!

I combine my 2 RODI systems, using the prefilter housings from my spectra pure and the membrane from my PurlyH2o and my dual DI from BRS to create a monster system 1&5micron sediment-> 1&5micron carbon -> 75gpd membrane->Dual mixed bed DI. I had got a 55gallon food grade barrel but it was just too big and not practical so im using a large bucket as a resivoir

The big news is my parents bought a new house, its beside the a lot we own where they plan on building their retirement home. Up in Long-sault, Ontario they don’t plan on moving for 6 or7 months so I have some time to figure things out, I just need to decide if I want to go with them or if I want to use this opportunity to move out, I still have another year of school so I need to see how that will effect everything as well. I can easily transfer schools as one close by has a similar program , regardless ive already began planning the new tank…for if I move with them

if i do get a new tank i want it big and shallow, sorta like a frag tank, maybe 8'x3'x16"
