The Display Tank and Breeding Setup are back!!!

After posted about this back in August, I have finally had a chance to update the progress on my system. Unfortunately, I didn't get take many build pictures since I was too busy building. I am happy to have both the breeding set up and display tanks back up and running. Below are some pictures and some descriptions of the both of the systems.

In wall display tank (245G)



Sump for the display with a ASM G6 skimmer, carbon reactor, and live rock


Breeding setup. When it is all complete it will hold 23 tanks.


Left racks


Right Racks including the sump with a ATI skimmer, Reeflo Dart Return Pump, carbor reactor, and live rock.


Quarantine Sytems (2 22G tanks and a 29G cube)

    Thanks for the comments! In terms of the electric bill if tried to be efficient with the use of pumps and lights. The breeding set up is only lit with either a single bulb T5 or a Marineland double bright fixture. One thing that I am going to look into in the future is possibly heating both systems with coils from a water heater but I would have to do more research on that before attempting it.

    Thats do able you would have to have a titanium loop for the sump, solenoid valve and a unit to call for power to the to the valve which you can buy or make for pretty cheap the loop would be the most costly

    Here is the final display tank all trimmed out. My daughter wanted the purple wall so we did the purple trim to match.

    Mostly clownfish. Will do some other things too. I haven't completely decided
