My new tank came in earlier in the week! You can tell much more care was taken when building it! Unfortunately, I did not get to keep the other tank to use as a sump

Today I gathered up all my frags I really did not want and took them to the LFS, I picked up some frozen food, cash and a frag of an unknown sps that is a yellow green (more yellow)

I then went to the other LFS to grab sand for the new tank, I left with about 70lbs, which should be enough, if it is not ill just use some of my current sand. I also grabbed a leopard wrasse which I will name spot, I’m hoping he will possibly rid my monti of whatever funk it has, because I have no time to remove it and treat it, at least until after the move.
(we are still getting use to having our picture taken)

While I was there, I saw this sad little Acan just screaming to be rescued…one of the employees has had it on hold for quite some time but the parted with it i estimate a complete recover time of 8months based on my previous Acan rescues

a little bad news, today i wokeup about 3 hours after lights on, and my leopard wrasse is nowhere to be seen
i hope hes just having a long sleep under the sand after his stressful day, if he died i think i would of found a body and lots of bristleworms. he didnt jump because i have the mesh top on...this is confusing

phil- yup its a rainford's! hes my favorite, minus the fact that he loves to sprinkle my acans with sand every now and then

Glad to hear he's OK. Rainfords are one of my favorite, must-have fish. It always amazes me how such a little fish can keep the sandbed so clean.
