I've been watching my lobo change shape before my eyes over the past month. I've had this lobo for over a year, and it has always looked like half a tennis ball, shape-wise. Lately it has been flattening out for no reason that I can think of. And the top of it has begun to show traces of bleaching, just slightly. Since it is in the front left corner of the tank, I placed my hand over it to see if I could create shade, which I could. So I grabbed a piece of scrap acrylic, peeled off the film from one side but left the other side with blue film and placed it on the tank's trim/rim. A bottle of Fritz glass cleaner helps keep it in place and reminds me not to try to feed in that spot. Otherwise I might knock it into the tank accidentally. The blue film actually makes the coral prettier.

Here it is in March, although my macro shot doen't showcase the full coral. It is standing tall though.

You can see in this picture it looks rather flat, and I'm not sure why but I'm guessing the light is the cause. Same bulb, untouched since last year.
