42 Gallon Hex build

The first photo below shows the post attached to the bottom inner frame assembly. The post are made from 2X4's that have had 1/4 inch planed from the broad side surface. Also the outer side of the post are trimmed down to 3/4" to match a 1X4. This is for attaching the side panels. They match the ones from the canopy which used 1X4 for the post since they do not bear the load of the tank full of water. The inner side of the post have been trimmed at an angle to allow a Sump to be inserted in the stand. A side panel must be removed to install or remove the sump. The next photo show the top of the frame assembly installed. The side supports can be seen stacked to the right of the stand assembly. In the third photo it show the side supports installed except the front which will not be a part of the sump area of the stand. in the last photo it shows the floor of the stand installed in the stand assembly.
