DIY Questions and Pico Update!

Well lets get the visual stuff out of the way:

For Scale:

And the little pump that can't:

Ok So that's the pico that the aforementioned lego canopy will be built for. However due to some extra research the light that comes with this system is truly horrible and the LED strip mentioned in the previous post is too large/powerful for this tank. So I figured most of the DIY skills to build an LED array I already know so I should be ok, but I had some questions as I see many ways that people have set up the arrays. As per the DIY article on here, he just used MeanWell 700mA drivers for both the blue and the white, which I took to mean that the colors of LED's do not need to be separate. IE: I could put 2 Cree Royal Blue and 4 Cree Q4 Cool White, or any combination of the XR-E Star's on a single driver, so long as the voltage is not exceeded. Am I right in what I'm thinking here?

That sounds correct to me, but you better follow up with some LED-wielding hobbyists to save a few dollars prior to starting.
