This memorial day weekend...

Rate this Entry
The weather is in the 90s, and I'm cleaning up equipment in my fishroom. Today I took down the lights to clean the reflectors' shells and both sides of the glass. I'll be wiping down everything, like the rim of the tank, the sump, pumps and plumbing. I also need to do all my water tests.

I'd like to clean up the display tank a little more, trim out some dead stuff and move a couple of corals.

On Monday, I'm going to BBQ. What are y'all going to do?

I have been off since Thursday at 10:00 am We have done nothing and have no plans. today I did a 30 gallon plus water change that was over due and rewired the tank. Well i rearranged the wiring in the tank and moved the power strips to where they could be easily accessed and did some reprogramming of the AC3 Controller. I need to test the water soon before I feed them.

No other plans for the rest of the week end. I need to cut the grass and get some fish food. Oh and some more beer.

We went to our daughters home in Hattiesburg Mississippi. We left Friday evening, stayed overnight Friday in hotel before we even got out of Texas. (was stuck in traffic for 2 hours because of bad accident) Saturday morning my wife drove for another 5 or so hours the rest of the way. Monday BBQ! Drive back on Tuesday. Fun holiday!

I hope everyone has an awesome holiday! God Bless Our Troops, Past and Present!

I spent the entire afternoon and late evening trimming tree limbs that fell onto my powerline from a freak storm Sunday evening. My neighbor came knocking to let me know, and when I saw how bad it was, the holiday plans I had were shot. I like electricity as does my tank, so it couldn't wait.

Bummer about the holiday plans, Its a good thing you have a generator.

I helped a neighbor set a Chicago brick pave patio in the front yard in the am then in the early afternoon I did another 30 gallon water change on the tank (that was two in five days) then we reconvened at the neighbors house after the kids woke and went for a swim, ate a steak dinner and enjoyed a few libations.
